Der Q2-Englischkurs auf erhöhtem Anforderungsniveau besuchte am Abend des 03. Februars die Aufführung von Shakespeares „Romeo and Juliet“ durch das TNT Britain im Deutschen Theater in Göttingen.

Das Stück wurde von Paul Stebbings, der in Nottingham geboren wurde und an der Bristol University Drama studiert hat, wirkungsvoll in Szene gesetzt.

Auf der Bühne agierten nur sechs Schauspieler. Eine ohne Zweifel beachtliche Leistung! Denn zählt man die Dramatis Personae im Originaltext von Shakespeare, so kommt man auf ganze 25 Charaktere.

Alle sechs Schauspieler spielten mit leidenschaftlicher Hingabe und verliehen so dem mehr als über 400 Jahre alten Shakespearetext einen neuen Glanz.

Unsere Schüler waren von der Aufführung begeistert, verwundert, entzückt und entsetzt zugleich:
